Sunset at White Pocket in the Vermillion Cliffs Wilderness, Arizona. The deserts of the SW are incredibly varied and colourful providing a multitude of photographic possibilities. I have just one space left on a tour of the SW next spring travelling around this incredible region. Stone Portal, White Pocket, Arizona http://ift.tt/1itOuDr I love visiting an area many times over as it affords the opportunity to always seek out new compositions. This image was captured just after sunset as twilight painted the sandstone world of White Pocket. The right side of the rock is bathed in a warm reflected light while the left side is picking up the blue cast of the sky above as it sits in a deeper shade.
