The Majestic by ftan99

for more: http://ift.tt/1pj8rRx Something different from my usual shot. Its different because this was not taken during the sunrise/sunset/golden hour/blue hour time frame. This was actually taken mid morning. As I have mentioned in my previous posts, during my stay at Mt Rainier, the fog was very intense that we hardly glimpse the peak. In this one, the fog does contribute something to the final photo. Also this is a 4 x 5 crop which I feel fits better with the subject matter. via 500px http://ift.tt/1rhOiLl

Echoes from the past by efossati

The castle of Heidenreich during a melanchonic autumn day, when you can feel the end of the good season, but you can enjoy the last rays of light and in the silence you can hear the echos from the past. via 500px http://ift.tt/1CrMGF6

The Snow-Spangled Banner by landESCAPEphotography

Portfolio and Services: http://ift.tt/1irFxdJ I hope my title isn't too cryptic, don't think too hard... Sierra buffs might be able to pull a second layer out of it, though. :) First decent snow of the season! Well, the California drought still isn't over... but this sure was an amazing thing to wake up to in the backcountry after three days of snow and many hours of white out conditions. I shot this on a super fun backpacking trip last weekend with Erin Babnik and Ted Gore. The water was like glass, which made things easy, but I had to be very careful in finding a foreground to complement the rest of the scene. Otherwise, this is just a single exposure with basic raw processing -- I'd rather let this kind of a scene speak for itself. - Jeff p.s. I have moved to San Francisco! If you are in the Bay Area, hit me up! http://ift.tt/1irFxdJ You can also follow my posts on Facebook. (I sometimes post shots exclusively on a single site, so hopefully it's worth your time to follow them all!) via 500px http://ift.tt/1s9sKVV

I See Fire by ponty93

Colbricon Lakes. I saw a lot of "enrosadira" but this time I had a lot of luck. The weather wasn't so good( there were a lot of clouds covering the sun)and I was ready to go back to the car when I noticed a bit of red on the left part of the peek just 1 second before putting away everything. I saw the most beautiful and colorful sunset ever seen. The red was so intense that I needed my sunglasses to see the details on the rocks. via 500px http://ift.tt/1n8tnyM

The Rhythm of Light by nevadax1

This sunset was simply spectacular! It is one of the best I've ever seen. It had color, drama, depth and layers of interest throughout. The reflection added even more to the image. I was so happy just to be there to witness it and glad I had my camera too! I hope you like it. Thanks for looking and thanks for all your support. Click the "H" and "M" keys to see it at its best. via 500px http://ift.tt/1rVfTHh

Reflections of Cook by Timbodon

The peace, harmony and very loud excitement that explodes in your brain when capturing moments like this, is something that comes when you just love doing what you are doing. I'm sure it really doesn't matter what it is that works for you, but when you find it, you know it. You want it, you need it and you crave it. Sound like an addiction? Well maybe it just is. Huge shout out to One of a Kind for making this moment possible Let me know what you think! via 500px http://ift.tt/1pKESHn

Reitdiephaven in black and white by MartijnKort

This was my first intention for visiting the location. A black and white conversion of this colorfull place. When processing the image I liked the color version better but still wanted to finish the black and white version. Best viewed on black! via 500px http://ift.tt/YHwcvb

Lake Louise Glow by miketlim

Driving down to Lake Louise from Banff today. Lake Louise is definitely one of my top 3 favourite places to visit in Banff National Park. Hoping for better light tomorrow than I experienced today at sunrise. It was completely overcast in Banff but as they say, tomorrow is a new day. Early morning sun hits the peaks and glacier surrounding Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. via 500px http://ift.tt/1mFqnKb
