Inferno by alexandreehrhard

Erg Chegaga, Morocco. Please view it on black, it's much nicer Follow me on My Facebook Page Erg Chegaga (or Chigaga) is one of two major dunes of the Sahara in Morocco, the other being the Erg Chebbi of Merzouga. This dune is located in the Souss-Massa-Draa area and is located about 50 km west of the rural town of M'Hamid El Ghizlane, itself located about 98 km south of the town of Zagora. With a length of approximately 40 km to 15 km wide, some dunes around a height of 60 m (170 m more than Erg Chebbi), it is the largest and wildest of Morocco. Because it is relatively difficult to access – it is only accessible by 4x4, camel or on foot – Erg Chigaga remains as untouched as Erg Chebbi, which can make for a memorable desert experience. via 500px http://ift.tt/1mIUh03

Lake Louise Glow by miketlim

Driving down to Lake Louise from Banff today. Lake Louise is definitely one of my top 3 favourite places to visit in Banff National Park. Hoping for better light tomorrow than I experienced today at sunrise. It was completely overcast in Banff but as they say, tomorrow is a new day. Early morning sun hits the peaks and glacier surrounding Lake Louise in Alberta, Canada. via 500px http://ift.tt/1mFqnKb

Moraine Lake Sunset by miketlim

Keeping with the recent theme.....am on my way to visit Moraine Lake today. Here's another shot from last year. Weather report is looking good for today so I'm definitely excited for some "Moraine Magic". It took a 2nd visit to Moraine to get the glow I wanted in the mountains and tree-line surrounding the lake but I loved the results. Moraine's distinct shade of blue is due to the refraction of light off the rock flour deposited in the lake on a continual basis by the glaciers surrounding it. This photo was manually blended using Photoshop CC from 3 different bracketed exposures. via 500px http://ift.tt/1sEKqLb
